This week, everyone’s favorite guy, Tom Hanks, has written and directed for our viewing pleasures 1996’s That Thing You Do! Starring Liv Tyler, Steve Zahn, Tom Evertt Scott, and Johnathon Schaech, the film tells the story of The Wonders, a one-hit wonder band from Erie, PA.

They earn their success and realize that it’s not all that it’s cracked up to be. Accompanied by a killer tune and an amazing feeling and setting, this is a film that we both agree is amazing.
