For those that celebrate, MERRY CHRISTMAS! HAPPY KWANZAA! HAPPY FESTIVUS! And, we maybe a little late, but Happy HANNUKAH! And, overall, have a wonderful and happy holiday season if we’ve missed your celebration of choice!
This week, The Plotaholics are covering a tale that’s probably older than a percentage of our listeners as we delve into the 1989 Christmas classic National Lampoon’s Christmas Vacation, starring Chevy Chase (pre-Donald Glover feud), Beverly D’Angelo, Johnny Galecki, Juliette Lewis, and Randy Quaid.
In this film, the last family man on Earth, Clark Griswold (Chase), wants to give his family a good old fashioned American Christmas. Unfortunately for him, squirrels, a lack of saws, tree sap, a dog, his neighbors, his in-laws, Jelly of the Month Club memberships, and his own ineptitudes get in his way.
Be ready to laugh your ass off and have a good time with this holiday classic!
