Plotaholics Podcast, Episode 108 – Freaky Friday (1976 vs 2003)

Summer Showdown continues as we go back to the mid 70s only to go back to the mid oughts! That’s right! This week we visit Freaky Friday–the 1976 version starring Jodi Foster and Barbara Harris and the 2003 version starring Lindsay Lohan and Jamie Lee Curtis!

These body-swapping classics see a mother and a daughter in crisis as they switch bodies to get to know one another better.

One version deals with a crappy father (we’re talking about you, Gomez Addams) and the other deals with a creepy love interest (that means you, One Tree Hill guy!), but it’s a lot of fun and a damn good time!

But this episode is in the Plotaholics universe, so of course we are all over the place as we also ended up discussing the Fast and the Furious franchise, Wonder Woman 1984, post-credits scenes and a bunch of other stuff as well. Go figure!
