The Plotaholics Sports Block continues this week as Bryan and Shane get into the official Plotaholics Time Machine to go back to the magical world of 1989 to visit Major League, starring The Substitute, Tiger Blood, Blade, Thor’s Mom, and Michael J. Fox’s aunt.
In this film the unlikable owner of the Cleveland Baseball Team hatches a nefarious plot to put together the worst team to take the diamond since the Bad News Bears as a ploy to make them bad enough to finish dead last all so she can move the team to Miami. Yeah, kids–there didn’t used to be a baseball team in Miami back in 1989.
Unfortunately, the team decides they’re going to win despite her. There’s casual stalking, harassment, and all kinds of shenanigans in this sports comedy classic for you to enjoy! So sit back, relax, and listen to the guys go JUUUUUUUUUST a bit outside with this one!
