Plotaholics Podcast, Episode 76 – Planes, Trains and Automobiles

Happy Thanksgiving from The Plotaholics! This week, we’ve gone to the classics for some Thanksgiving week content!

This week, we take a look at the 1987 John Hughes Thanksgiving Classic, Planes, Trains and Automobiles, starring Steve Martin as Marketing executive Neal Page who is on a mission to get home to his family for Thanksgiving following a business trip. Neal runs into one horrible situation after another when he meets good-natured doofus and shower curtain ring salesman, Del Griffith, played by the late, great John Candy.

Rental agreements, trains, planes, and automobiles abound in this hilarious and touching comedy that showcases a great talent that we lost too soon in John Candy.

Happy Thanksgiving! Stay safe!
